messaging analysis

See how your messaging stacks up against the competitors who matter most.

Your website tells buyers who you are. So does every competitor's. Messaging Analysis scores your site and your positioning document against your top three competitors, finds the moment their messaging shifted, shows what it did to your win rate, and tells you exactly what to change, with a plan for the next 3, 6 and 12 months.

Inside Messaging Analysis

01

Five scores, with the quotes behind them

Every company is scored on clarity, differentiation, proof, buyer fit and consistency. Each score links to the quotes it came from, so the number is something you can argue with, not just accept.

02

Your top three, chosen for you

It compares your messaging against ThreatScope's top three competitors, or against the competitors you pick. Your website and the Product Messaging document you upload (positioning, buyers, strategy, marketing direction) are both read.

03

Where you stand, and where you're heading

See your rank and the gap to the leader today and in 3, 6 and 12 months, each shown as a range, not a false-precision number. A positioning map plots everyone on your document's two axes.

04

When their messaging shifted

For each competitor: what they say now, a before-and-after of the change drawn from stored page history, and a quarterly timeline of their page changes, news, your win rate against them, and losses that cite the shift.

05

Honest about cause and effect

Where deal counts are small, a shift and a dip in win rate are read as "signal, not proof." The effect on win rate is shown as a direction, never as a made-up number.

06

Suggested edits, page by page

Current text next to suggested text for each page, tied to the document section it follows and the score and theme it lifts. Accept, edit or dismiss. Later runs check whether accepted edits shipped and moved the score as forecast.

07

Draws on your real data

Win/loss with your stage mapping, loss reasons, interviews, deal analyses, customer stories, call mentions and objections, competitor news and battlecards, field intel, AI visibility, ads, social posts, job postings and analyst reports. Anything not set up is skipped, with the reason stated.

08

On your schedule, to your channels

Run it monthly, quarterly, weekly or on demand, and optionally whenever a top-three competitor's messaging shifts. Get an email summary and a Slack message by default only when something changed. Export a PDF, slides, or the edits as a Word document.

how the analysis works

From their words to your next edit

AI reads the pages and the documents. The scores, the timelines and the win-rate links are built from your own data.

step 1

Reads

Your website, your positioning document, and each competitor's pages, including how they looked before.

step 2

Scores

Five measures per company, each with the quotes that earned it, and your rank today and over 3, 6 and 12 months.

step 3

Connects

Lines each messaging shift up against news, your win rate against that competitor, and the losses that cite it.

step 4

Suggests

Edits for each page, with the score and theme each should lift, then checks later whether they worked.

step 5

Reports

What matters this month, what changed since the last run, and how much to trust the run.

step 6

Respects privacy

Messages to email and Slack carry scores and a fixed line built from numbers, never your document's text.

why it's different

A feed tells you what a competitor published. Messaging Analysis tells you how their story compares to yours, when it changed, whether it cost you deals, and what to write instead, because it sits next to your win/loss, calls and battlecards. Tools that only watch the outside can't connect a competitor's rewrite to your own pipeline.

who it's for

How teams put it to work

Real ways sellers and the teams around them get value from it, day to day.

Product marketing

Rewrites the homepage and positioning with evidence for each change, then sees whether the score moved.

CI lead

Learns the week a competitor changes its story, with the before and after, instead of finding out in a deal.

Sales leader

Sees whether a competitor's new message lines up with a dip in win rate, and briefs reps before the next quarter.

Executive

Gets a clear read on who owns the message in the market, today and in a year, and where to invest.

Founder or new CI team

Starts with an honest scorecard of how the company's story compares, instead of guessing.
